Meeting Minutes:

A yearning for change-in listening to Obama Rhetoric-is the language that should be used to reiterate what we really want to say, what True Conservatism is, what we have as similar fundamentals between parties and in humanity, and what Regan means or meant. If we are to remain active as an organ or group of beliefs with Conservative values, we need a common language and something that will carry to 2012 and beyond. As far as this group goes, there is no true Conservative on the November National Ballot this year. Conservatism is the BEST Hope for America. With the fallout of Duncan Hunter and Mike Huckabee, who else is left?
With regard to taxes and the Fair Tax, how much money do each of us make and how would we like to take every red cent home?! Yes, please!
What about politicians using a scheme of enticement by increasing th eprebate, and what if people squandered it to treat it more like a Nanny-State welfare program? (see page 151 of the Truth about Fair Tax book) The Fair Tax will not reduce spending, but simply provide a greater transparency. Someone (Paulie) said they were against the IRS/FEDs and their taxation, which is Ron Paul's major stance---eliminating the Federal Reserve. While realizing that is is corrupt, the system is in place for a reason and because it was originally established under Constitutional Rule with the greatest of intentions. Is this a universal issue we can take hold of that everyone will understand? Fair Tax can be explained and sold if it is first understood!
Suggestng this can be like a popped balloon, Taxation says there is a better way to control government spending and excise. Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government and the elimination of entitlement programs, less spending in pork-barrell earmarks, etc, will not produce rewards. It is in our best interest that we BALANCE the BUDGET first, but the Fair Tax, because of our fallout in population replacement can play an integral role. I have several books (as poster of this section) I will be MORE THAN HAPPY to loan out....I have a great collection of Conservative modern literature....please feel free to ask!

The younger crowd of Conservatives is notabley more likely to remain open to the Fair Tax, because the older members of the United States Conservative politics are hardened by their hard-fought efforts in opposition to the IRS for so long! It is an education issue, it is a cross-cultural issue and it is a redistribution effort that must be comondeered. The fair tax is a way to gain simple EMPOWERMENT, a means of TRANSPARENCY, a GRADUATED SYSTEM with NO LOOPHOLES, and a way to eliminate a LOBBYING SYSTEM. It is also an interesting way to curb cheating because when we pay income tax, we can forge or falsify those docuements, as only 1 percent of people are actually audited and overall we are all less than half a percent at risk....but when it is only on sales tax, it takes TWO to cheat, defraud the government and then both parties must be erradicated or imprisoned. It's not a matter of redistribution of wealth, either, because people who generally make more will be more likely to spend more handsomely. Those of us who have to live within our means will benefit by acutally paying less in taxes for a trade of increased empowerment and personal accountability, TWO HALLMARKS of the YOUNG CONSERVATIVES.

The question of punishing spending by punishing us with higher sales tax is a 'yes' answer...but it will increase savings, which translates to greater consumer savings, greater access to capitals, lesser risk of loan-offerers defaulting or bankrupting, fewer credit crises, less power in federal government because the feds give "tax breaks". So, we can, in essence, "chop off" the hands of Federal Government.
WE need a revolution, not with guns, but with intellect, with truth and that which will result in a retreat to a truer government of, by and for the people. Notice that the current income tax generates $8 trillion and the Consumer tax generates $11 trillion....this can have a HUGE effect on curbing illegal immigration...because if everyone who buys and sells has to pay a tax at 23%, EVERYONE....fewer illegals will see it an easy game to play to get into America free and clear.
Teh fair tax can reduce legalized plunder by impacting first the socialist mentality. It is impartial.
Income in the litany of IRS regulations is never truly defined but in the Supreme Court, the word "income" is what is reported on the form 1040......pay attention to that when considering your vote because the President can influence the Supreme Court and its justices!! Heads-up.
At least by the use of the Fair tax, even dirty money will be taxed (e.g. when a drug dealer buys a beamer, they still pay 23%!) like the rest of us. If one of our goals is to envelope Personal Empowerment rather than a Nanny State, and transparency creates or results in Personal Empowerment, the Hallmary of the Young Conservatives, DON'T STEAL MY POWER!
It isn't so much a question of where the money goes, as it is how much we pay (page 148 of the Truth About Fair Tax by Neal Boortz and John Linder) Honest money and honest money policy is what we really need to make our economy rise. 100 years ago, when a loaf of bread was a nickel, there were a limited number of nickels, but now they are a dime a dozen, no punn intended! But restrain this issue, please to the COLLECTION system, not the fiscal system!
The Fair Tax, like the Constitution, is already written and we are trying to find a way to make an established system fit in a changing system. This is how we start toward fixing the National System.
Broader and lesser government and self-empowerment are just minute elements of the commandments of Conservatism:

The time is short. Fair Tax Empowerment can be a wholesome new dialogue! We can equate this with conservativism, but also empowerment, chenge and equivalency, then it makes no difference WHO backs the bill, but self empowerment means more than the individual as a core value.

please educate yourself at www.fairtax.org, ask questions at www.ksgf.com/forum, or feel free to ask for references from me personally: I will direct or answer your questions as best as possible! cheriekail@yahoo.com, my cell 417-830-0274 also use those links/information for additions or corrections.

Thanks to all in attendance and please return for a Conservative meeting August 12th at 7:00 p.m.!
