The State of Missouri wanted to find out why people who don't camp, well...don't camp. So they set out with a survey. What they found is that lots of young people had a problem with the fact that tress don't naturally have a Wi-Fi signal. God forbid. They said that they would stay in the parks longer if they had access to the internet.
Given that the solution is only a taxpayer away, 11 state parks in Missouri now provide taxpayer funded Wi-Fi. Seriously.
Should I ever be presented with a similar survey I will let it be known that a keg in every campsite would have a similar impact. If they are going to waste our money, it might as well be on beer.
