Hey folks—Just in case you’ve ever wondered about that “weekend guy,” producer of some of the live talk shows you hear on KSGF weekends, I’ve worked at Journal broadcast group since December 2004, filling various roles, including DJ, producer, and as a production voice. Born in St. Louis in the early ‘50s, my parents whisked me out to Hollywood, California, where I lived until my enlistment in the Air Force. During that stint, I got my first taste of radio as an announcer at an experimental radio station in Mississippi, but then forgot about it for the next 12 years.

In 1983, I completed a course in Radio Talent and production, and began my trek “up and down the dial,” before making my way to Springfield four years later. After a three-year run at radio stations here, I gravitated back west for a few years before finally settling here in 1998. I have a daughter and a granddaughter who I get to visit every couple of years in Florida, but I love it here in the Ozarks!

My interests include playing guitar, writing songs, going fishing with my dad (who settled here in 1977), and checking out new restaurants and both new and old movies.
