A man was walking down a street early in the morning, yelling for no apparent reason. Police were called to investigate. When they found the man they asked him why he was yelling. He said, "I'm upset with my buddy." Police, who saw nobody but the "yeller" asked him where his friend was. He said, "Right there, can't you see him." The man was taken from the scene, either to a detox center or for a mental evaluation.
In June, Springfield voters will be at the polls to once again decide whether or not private businesses can allow smoking on their own private property. The most recent ban was voted on by the people last year. Since then, numerous voters have changed their mind.
Maine Senator Olympia Snowe has announced that she will not seek reelection in 2012. In announcing her plans, she said, "Unfortunately, I do not realistically expect the partisanship of recent years in the Senate to change over the short term.
