Another suspicious package was found early Thursday morning. This one was addressed to actor Robert De Niro.
According to NBC News, an employee at a building in Manhattan called police to report that he’d seen a package similar to the ones discovered Wednesday.
It was mailed to the building that houses a restaurant and a film production company owned by De Niro. The package reportedly had six “forever” stamps and listed U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s office as the return address.
The other devices were sent to top Democrats and critics of President Donald Trump, including Hillary Clinton, former CIA Director John Brennan and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters. De Niro has also been critical of Trump.
If investigators confirm this package is linked, it will bring the total number of suspicious packages to eight. Luckily, none of the bombs detonated.
