With the New Year starting, many people across the Ozarks are feeling the cost of prescription drugs going up.
A director with a local pharmacy says around 30 different drug makers have raised the prices of hundreds of different medications.
He says it’s going impact the consumer because it is going to be tagged into the price and when you come to the pharmacy you should see an increase in price.
If your medication is going up in price, you can ask your pharmacist if there is a cheaper form of treatment, any coupons, or if you can switch to a generic version.
