Central Arkansas Deputy Fired After Shooting Dog

A central Arkansas Deputy has been fired after shooting a small dog in the Jaw.

The Facebook page of the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office says that Deputy Keenan Wallace was “relieved of his duties” after a video of the incident came to light.

Wallace was responding to a call that a small dog was being aggressive.

The owner of the dog said that she would never hurt anyone. The dog, named Reeses, is about the size of a Terrier.

After she was shot the owner said a neighbor managed to get her to a veterinarian. He said he is very grateful.
