With temperatures expected to drop 20 degrees overnight, crews with MoDOT will work through the night treating the roads.
Jennifer Williams, MoDOT’s Communications Manager, says the roads could be slick during the morning drive.
“We will have crews out all night and through the morning drive monitoring and treating the roads as needed to make sure everyone gets where they need to go,” Williams says.
Williams is urging drivers to be very cautious when driving in the morning,.
She suggests you leave earlier than normal and watch out for slick spots.
