More snow is in the forecast overnight and through the morning drive.
MoDOT District Maintenance Engineer Darin Hamelink says crews will be rolling out at 3 a.m. So that way they will be able to pre-treat the roads before the rain changes over to snow.
He says they will be treating the I-44 and I-49 first. Then crews will move to the highways and then hit the secondary roads.
Crews will be using rock salt mixed with beet juice to help the snow melt faster.
