Weather Update:
Several tornadoes tore through the state of Missouri last night. Jefferson City was hit around 11:43 p.m. with what the National Weather Service is calling a “violent tornado.”

In Jefferson City, the state capital, there is extensive damage along Ellis Boulevard near Highway 54. Power lines are down. Traffic is being diverted as @MSHPTrooperGHQ & local first responders go door-to-door. Consider all power lines live.

The Barton County Sheriff’s Office says that three people have died in an apparent tornado that hit their home near Golden City.

A group of protesters set up shop in front of Cox South in Springfield earlier this week. The protesters, who identified as chronic pain patients, protested the difficulties of finding a doctor willing to prescribe opioids for pain.
Dave Matthews Band:
One man is dead after he received a mysterious head injury at a Dave Matthews Band concert in St. Louis. Reports say that the man had went back into the venue after the show to retrieve a shirt he and his wife had purchased. When he didn’t return after several minutes, his wife called. His phone was answered by a paramedic.
