Severe weather is possible later this afternoon and early evening.
The National Weather Service has issued several Flash Flood Warnings until 4:15 p.m. today.
The first round of storms will push through this morning with damaging winds and flash flooding being the main threats.
The National Weather Service of Springfield said that storms are possible again late afternoon and are expected to move into the area just before sunset.
These storms will have the greatest chance of severe weather with large hail, damaging winds, a few tornadoes possible, and heavy rainfall which could lead to flash flooding.
