Twelve people died on Missouri roads over the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Highway Patrol says nine people died in crashes, while three others drowned after their vehicles were swept away by flooding in Bollinger County in Southeast Missouri.
Two of the crashes happened in the Ozarks.
One was in Springfield, the other was in Joplin.
