ACCESS Family Care says it has had to lay off 60 employees after recommendations from the American Dental Association suggested eliminating all non-essential or life-saving dental procedures.
ACCESS Family Care is based in Neosho, and has clinics and dental care centers in Joplin, Neosho, Anderson, and Cassville, with a dental clinic in Carthage, and medical clinics in Lamar and Aurora. ACCESS Family Care serves more than 26,000 patients.
ACCESS says it is hoping to rehire as many staff members as possible after the pandemic passes.
