Penmac Hiring For Over 200 Jobs

Penmac Staffing is hiring for more than 200 jobs in Springfield and Nixa.

While unemployment is high because of the pandemic, there are still manufacturing, transportation, and clerical jobs available.

Here’s more from Penmac:

Penmac Staffing is now hiring for over 200 jobs in this area. Manufacturing, transportation, and clerical opportunities are available in Springfield and Nixa. While unemployment remains high in the midst of the pandemic, many employers are in need of additional staff.

“The employers we work with are committed to providing a safe working environment because they know a COVID outbreak in their facility or office would be detrimental to their business,” said Penmac CEO Tim Massey. “We are still hearing from some people that they are unwilling to go back to the workplace due to the threat of the virus, and others who will tell us that they are—frankly—making more money on unemployment. That is frustrating to hear when we have hundreds of job openings available.”

Most jobs are skilled and require some experience, although a few entry-level positions are available for committed candidates who are willing to learn. All shifts are available, and there are both temporary and temp-to-hire positions.

Branch Manager of the Springfield Industrial office, Jeremy Russell said, “We work hard to match job seekers with jobs that match their skills, schedule, and career goals. There is no cost to complete an application with Penmac, and like any staffing company, we do not take any portion of an employee’s paycheck. The client companies pay us to help them fill these jobs, so we can offer this great free service to job seekers. They can fill out just one application and be considered for dozens of companies at once.”

Interested candidates may start the application online at www.penmac.com, and then bring two forms of ID to the downtown Springfield location at 447 South Avenue, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm. The entire application process can also be completed in person at a Penmac office. Penmac is following social distancing guidelines, so some applicants may be asked to wait outside or make an appointment during busy times. For more information, call 417-831-9100.
