The overnight women’s shelter Safe to Sleep is reopening after being closed due to COVID-19 concerns.
Everyone’s temperature will be taken on arrival, and everyone must wear a mask. Capacity at the women’s shelter is also limited, since beds must be kept six feet apart.
The shelter’s director Kelly Harris, says she wants women to know they have their backs.
Harris adds that the shelter needs more volunteers, and they lost around half their workforce.
