President Trump:

Over the weekend, President Trump signed several executive orders. What are the Democrats going to do now?

Joe Biden:

Joe Biden apparently doesn’t remember that he was a fan in payroll tax cuts.

Joe Biden portrayed Michael Brown as the victim of a police shooting on Sunday—the sixth anniversary of Brown’s death in Ferguson, Missouri—despite the fact that the Obama-Biden Department of Justice determined that officer Darren Wilson had acted out of “self-defense.”

Kanye West:

The state Democratic Party filed a complaint Friday asking state officials to block rapper Kanye West from appearing on the presidential ballot in Wisconsin.

The challenge also suggests there are numerous problems with West’s nomination papers, including incorrect addresses for circulators and bogus signatures, such as “Mickey Mouse” and “Bernie Sanders.”

The Kansas City Star:

The Kansas City Star has an editorial piece blaming Republicans for “pushing” to reopen Missouri schools.

Jan Fisk:

The latest scheduled hearing in the ethics case involving Springfield City Councilman Jan Fisk will not be taking place on August 14 as originally scheduled by the Hearing Examiner.

Breweries:

The “Black is Beautiful” campaign was launched to highlight the lack of diversity in the craft brewing industry.

2020 Debates:
Jimmy Fallon, the host of “The Tonight Show,” says there’s no need for President Trump and Joe Biden to square off in debates before the 2020 election.

Biden VP:

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown has urged Sen. Kamala Harris to “politely decline” a spot on Joe Biden’s ticket if Biden chooses her as his running mate.

Ozark Mask Mandate:

The board of Alderman in Ozark is holding a special meeting Monday at 6 p.m. to discuss a face mask ordinance. Something different than other aldermen meetings, the Mayor of Ozark can decide on the ordinance after public comment rather than requiring a vote.

Hydroxychloroquine:

New York City Councilman Paul Vallone says that hydroxychloroquine saved his life.

Mask Mouth:

Now that dentists have reopened their doors, they’re having patients show up with a nasty set of symptoms, which the doctors have dubbed “mask mouth.”
