A man has life threatening injuries after being shot multiple times in the back early Monday morning on the parking lot of Hunter’s Glen Apartments in the 1700 block of west Erie in Springfield.
People reported hearing shots just before 4:30 a.m.
Police are looking for a two-tone light grey and beige Ford SUV in connection with the shooting.
They believe the suspect and victim know each other.
The victim, in his 20’s, was taken into surgery early Monday morning at a hospital in Springfield.
