The Greene County Clerk’s Office says there will be three polling place changes for Tuesday’s election.
1st/2nd Boone precinct has been temporarily moved from Ash Grove High School to the Ash Grove Methodist-Presbyterian Church at 403 east Boone in Ash Grove. The change was made to adequately respond to COVID-19 and the availability of the previous location.
1ABC polling place has been temporarily moved from its previous temporary location of Westminster Presbyterian Church on east Portland in Springfield to Delaware Elementary School (1505 south Delaware). The change is due to the re-opening of the school.
The Missouri State Central Polling location, which was formerly located at the Missouri State Welcome Center, is relocated to JQH Arena (685 John Q. Hammons Parkway). The change was made to allow for more space due to COVID-19.
Signage is already up at the 1st/2nd Boone and 1ABC polling locations directing voters to their temporary relocated polling place, as well as at the new polling locations.
