There’s extensive damage to a home in Hollister after an overnight fire.
Crews say five people inside the house in the 700 block of Evergreen managed to escape unharmed, although it was initially unclear if anyone was still inside.
The Western Taney County Fire Chief says a neighbor called 911 just after midnight Monday morning, and the house was fully engulfed when crews arrived.
He says the fire started on the porch, but there’s no reason to believe it was anything but an accident.
