Impeachment:

President Donald Trump has been impeached… Again.

Ten House Republicans joined Democrats to impeach President Trump on charges of “incitement of an insurrection.”

Josh Hawley:

Sen. Josh Hawley wrote an opinion column in the South Eastern Missourian. Nick wonders if this was the only paper he sent it to, or if it was the only paper that would print it?

Galena, MO:

The city of Galena’s Facebook page posted a meme of Kamala Harris on their page, and then later took it down. The page issued an apology, stating they accidentally shared it. Steve Pokin with the Springfield News-Leader decided to write an entire article on it. The meme was described as “racist,” and “misogynistic.”

Nick is curious as to why an entire article was written, but the actual meme (or the context of the meme) wasn’t posted?

Nixa PD:

KY3 wrote a story about the decrease in interest of law enforcement jobs… But the journalist never asked the questions as to WHY.

Public Shaming:

The former mayor of Springfield is public shaming Springfield residents on a new Facebook group.

The group, “Springfield Supports Masks – Businesses Who Do and Don’t,” allows for neighbors to tattle on neighbors. You can even post photos of Springfield residents not wearing masks.

Nick has questions about this newly found group that NO journalist has asked:

  • Is it now okay to publicly discriminate against disabled Springfield residents?
  • Is it okay to encourage it?
  • How is former Springfield Mayor Bob Stephens monitoring anti-maskers vs. those who have a disability?
  • What about veterans with PTSD? Those who are hard of hearing? Those who have other disabilities that make wearing a mask impossible?
An ABC News article calling for the “cleansing” of the movement of President Trump’s supporters was stealth-edited after critics questioned the charged word.
“Even aside from impeachment and 25th Amendment talk, Trump will be an ex-president in 13 days,” ABC’s Rick Klein and MaryAlice Parks wrote. “The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part. Cleansing the movement he commands, or getting rid of what he represents to so many Americans, is going to be something else.”

Little Marco:

In a letter on Tuesday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) called on Joe Biden to immediately help unite the country by passing $2,000 coronavirus stimulus checks for Americans.
