A Springfield Police officer who was intentionally run over by the driver of an SUV outside police headquarters stopped by the office today.
Police say Officer Mark Priebe stopped by for a meeting Tuesday on the Special Olympics Polar Plunge, which he will continue to coordinate.
Priebe was paralyzed in June 2020 after he was assaulted by Jon Routh.
Police shot Routh after he dragged Priebe under the vehicle.
The Priebe’s are suing Routh over the incident.
It was an honor and a blessing to see our brother back in the halls of police headquarters yesterday.
Ofc Priebe came by to grab a few things & for a meeting about the Special Olympics Polar Plunge, which, just like in years past, he is helping to coordinate. pic.twitter.com/Jpo4t0VHLH
