CDC Update: 

On Wednesday, the CDC was about to release guidelines suggesting that fully vaccinated people could gather in small groups indoors.  The White House has intervened and has told the CDC to “hold off on releasing” their announcement, without any declared reason as to why.

Chris announces there will be a gala to raise money for Honor Flight on June 26th.

Two Masks: 

Japanese supercomputer simulations showed that wearing two masks gave limited benefit in blocking viral spread compared with one properly fitted mask.

New Capitol Details: 

A top FBI counterterrorism official testified on Wednesday that no firearms were recovered during arrests of rioters who breached the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

North Korea: 

North Korea could be at it again. New activity has been detected at the Yonbyong nuclear site north of Pyongyang.

Gov. Cuomo: 

Top advisers to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo influenced state health officials to remove data from a public report that showed coronavirus-related nursing-home deaths in the state had exceeded numbers previously acknowledged by the administration.

The Public School System:

A Baltimore high school student failed all but three classes over four years and almost graduated near the top half of his class with a 0.13 GPA, according to a local report.
