The Ozark Empire Fair will go on this summer, despite a surge in COVID-19 cases in the Ozarks.

Officials say they will incorporate COVID guidelines.

KY3 reports the fair sold 70,000 tickets last year, and expects sales to return to pre-pandemic levels.

This is the 85th anniversary of the Ozark Empire Fair.

It runs from July 29 through August 8.

The July 29th concert featuring Loverboy has been canceled because of travel restrictions from Canada.

But the Ozark Empire Fair is offering a free show that night.

Due to travel restrictions from Canada, Loverboy will be unable to perform on July 29th as originally scheduled. However, the Ozark Empire Fair has something new and exciting up its sleeves.

Loverboy Ticket Refund Policy:

All ticket holders who purchased tickets online will be issued automatic refunds for the ticket value and credit card fees along with their fair admission if they purchased that in addition to their concert tickets.
