Cuomo:

Yesterday, Andrew Cuomo resigned as governor of New York.

Actor Alec Baldwin blamed cancel culture for Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s resignation from office Tuesday following accusations of sexual harassment. Baldwin called the day “tragic” in a tweet.

Lawyers for [former] Gov. Cuomo claimed that he was “paternalistic,” and the accusers  misinterpreted his actions.

Infrastructure Bill:

The Senate just passed a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill—and teed up another $3.5 trillion bill in the process. One of the Republicans that voted for the bill was Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt.

Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” on Tuesday night, where he criticized those Senate Republicans who went along with Democrats on a massive $1 trillion infrastructure spending plan.

The $3.5 trillion document is a full-on attempt to remake the American economy, the labor markets, blow off our immigration laws, rewrite the tax code, impose a climate agenda, and profoundly alter the relationship between the government, and those it governs.

Mexico:

The government of Mexico is suing six U.S. gun makers and one Boston-area wholesaler, claiming “massive damage” created by “unlawful trafficking” of firearms to cartel and criminal elements.

Springfield City Council:

The Springfield city council passed a resolution on Monday encouraging vaccination against COVID-19.

Angela Romine was the only one who voted against the resolution.
