Virginia Race: 

More than 300 Black churches across Virginia have agreed to play a video in which VP Harris urges churchgoers to vote after the services for Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe — a move that some experts claim violates the law.

Terry McAuliffe cut his interview short with a local Virginia TV station and told the reporter they should’ve asked”better questions.”

Suppy Chain:

In what seems like an attempt to distance President Joe Biden from the supply chain crisis ravaging the country and the globe, the Washington Post — which is owned by Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men in the world — published an op-ed on Monday telling American consumers to “try to lower expectations” moving forward.

Biden Picks: 

President Biden’s pick to lead Customs and Border Protection once faced allegations that he had discriminated against Black officers and made racist jokes at work – claims that were ultimately rejected by a jury and described by the nominee as “entirely bogus.”

Springfield Daily Citizen: 

A new non-profit media group created by former Mayor Tom Carlson is partnering with MSU.

Carlson stated he created the group to “restore what we’ve lost” in Springfield’s local news media.

In-N-Out Burger: 

The city of San Francisco temporarily closed an In-N-Out fast-food restaurant over the company’s refusal to force customers to prove they are vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Southwest Airlines: 

Southwest Airlines is dropping plans to put unvaccinated workers that are still waiting to be approved for a medical or religious exemption on unpaid leave starting in December.
