MoDOT Hosts Hearing Today On Upgrade To U.S. 60 In Rogersville

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be hosting a public meeting today on interchange upgrades on U.S. 60 and Missouri Route 125 in Rogersville.

MoDOT says the new changes would include removing the two sets of stoplights on Route 60 and 125. The stoplights would be replaced with an interchange and ramps.

The changes are being considered due to high traffic accidents within the area.

According to KY3, the project will cost $25.5 million and is being funded through a cost-share with the City of Rogersville and Greene County.

If funding is available, an outer road would also be constructed between Route 125 and Farm Road 243 to connect existing homes and businesses.

The public meeting will take place Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

You can join the meeting HERE.
