Police in Springfield have arrested a man wanted in connection to several theft cases.
One of the theft cases includes one that happened at a trade show earlier this month at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
37-year-old Derek Wells faces several charges, including receiving stolen property, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, tampering, and a felon in possession of a firearm.
Wells has entered a plea of not guilty.
Police say Wells has been arrested 28 times in the Springfield/Greene County area.
KY3 reports that he has been listed as a suspect in 49 additional cases since 2002.
Wells is being held in the Greene County Jail without bond.
