New charges have been filed against a man who led authorities on a high-speed chase Tuesday throughout Springfield.
Johnnie Coffer was charged with vehicle hijacking, resisting arrest and drug possession.
Deputies attempted to arrest Coffer on other warrants before Coffer fled authorities.
Coffer crashed the truck he was driving into a deputy’s car and another vehicle.
KY3 reports Coffer was wanted in November for cutting off his GPS ankle monitor.
