Chances for storms in the Springfield metro area are low.
Another round of storms is expected on Friday.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the area Friday ahead of a strong cold front. Lingering showers should clear out during the day Saturday with sunny skies for Sunday. Much cooler behind the frontal passage. #mowx #kswx pic.twitter.com/v4yn44gLwO
