Mitch McConnell & The Chamber of Commerce:

Despite his statements about the GOP’s prospects of reclaiming power over the upper chamber, Mitch McConnell voiced optimism that his party can prevail in the midterm elections during a 45-minute visit with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Monday.

The United States Chamber of Commerce’s influence in the beltway of Washington, D.C., has dwindled considerably as Democrats they endorsed continue voting for President Joe Biden’s legislative agenda despite opposition from the big business group.

House Republicans plan to launch investigations into the Chamber of Commerce for its endorsement of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing if they retake Congress in November.

Political Attacks:

According to a local North Dakota report, early Sunday morning a man called 911 and admitted to the hit and run of an 18-year-old. His motive? A “political argument” with a Republican.

University of New Mexico students attacked a recent Turning Point USA event. According to reports, students vandalized University property and unlawfully pulled a fire alarm.

Trans Youth:

An 18-year-old detransitioned woman gave a powerful testimony on Tuesday against the “gender affirming” model of care that led to her irreversible medical transition as an adolescent.
