(KTTS News) — Missouri Senator Roy Blunt gave his farewell speech on the Senate floor Tuesday.
He thanked voters for giving him the chance to serve.
Blunt says finding someone on the other side of the aisle to work with produces the most lasting results.
He talked about a number of issues where he was able to work with Democrats in the Senate to deal with issues facing the country.
Blunt has served in the U.S. Senate since 2010.
Before that, he served in the U.S. House.
