(KTTS News) – A St. James woman is dead after her car was struck by a train on Tuesday.
The accident happened around 2 PM on County Road 3640 near Highway KK in Phelps County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the driver allegedly failed to yield at the crossing and was struck by an oncoming Burlington Northern freight train.
The victim was identified as 18-year-old Cadey Rogers.
