(KTTS News) — There’s a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for counties along and south of Highway 60 until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says up to a half an inch of snow and sleet is possible.
A light dusting of snow could fall north of Highway 60.
It should move into the Springfield area around noon today.

Areas south of Highway 60 could get a light glaze of ice.
During the noon hour, lightning was being reported with the storms in northwest Arkansas, impacting Table Rock Lake.
Lightning is being observed with the snow and sleet in northwest Arkansas with visibilities down to a half mile at times. This activity is spreading into the Table Rock Lake area. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for southern Missouri along and south of Highway 60.
