(KTTS) – The police department for Aurora and Marionville are investigating after someone used counterfeit 100 dollar bills at several businesses in Aurora.
Officers says they were able to review surveillance video and make a positive identification of the subject passing the counterfeit bills.
The suspect was contacted at his home, and subsequently taken into custody for the counterfeit bills, and possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Police say it’s possible that more counterfeit bills may be circulating and to contact law enforcement if you receive one.
