(KTTS News) — Severe weather prompted several tornado warnings Thursday morning.
Strong winds knocked down trees and caused power outages across the Ozarks.
Water rescues were reported in Pittsburg, Kansas.
And trees fell on some cars in Crawford County, Kansas.
Additional showers and thunderstorms will be possible Friday. A few storms could produce large hail and damaging winds. There will also be a risk for flash flooding, especially for areas that have received recent heavy rainfall. #mowx #kswx pic.twitter.com/bN03YDQTxV

There’s a slight chance for some more showers and storms this morning and this evening.
Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats, especially west of Springfield.
Flash flooding could also be a problem.
It will turn sunny and hot later today.
