WASHINGTON, March 27 (Reuters) – House Transportation and Infrastructure chair Sam Graves will not seek re-election, joining dozens of other lawmakers who are leaving Congress, sources told Reuters Friday.
Graves has been a key lawmaker on aviation bills, including an aviation safety bill that was unanimously approved on Thursday as well as the 2024 reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration. Graves told the Wall Street Journal earlier he does not plan to run again.
