Amendment 5 Town Halls:
There will be two town halls scheduled for tomorrow (June 30th) regarding Amendment 5 on the August ballot.
The first will be held at the Golden Corral in Branson (3551 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway Branson, MO 65616). Doors Open at 12:00 p.m. and the program and Q&A will start at 12:30 p.m.
The Branson event will feature Amendment 5 sponsor Rep. Bishop Davidson, along with Rep. Brian Seitz and Sen. Brad Hudson, who will discuss how the proposal would impact Missouri families, workers, retirees, and businesses, including its effects on property taxes and the state’s economy.
The second will be held Flat Creek in Republic (772 U.S. Highway 60 Republic, MO 65738). Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the program & Q&A will start at 6:30 p.m.
The Republic event will feature Amendment 5 sponsors Rep. Bishop Davidson and Sen. Curtis Trent.
