Abortions in Missouri:

The state of Missouri may see some changes to abortions, as the last abortion clinic may be closed by Friday. St. Louis’s Planned Parenthood noted they’re having difficulties regarding Missouri’s health department and getting a renewal for the clinic. If the license isn’t renewed by Friday, Missouri would be the very first state without an abortion clinic since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.

Gov. Mike Parson doubled down yesterday on the state’s threat not to renew the license of the only abortion clinic in the state and said it would be “reckless” for a judge to weigh in until the state takes action.

Some believe this is an attack on women’s health, but reports against the Planned Parenthood clinic show numerous health and safety violations.

Robert Mueller Conference:

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller broke his silence yesterday morning with a press conference to give his remarks on the Russia investigation.

Late last night, The Department of Justice, as well as the Special Counsel’s office released a joint statement clarify several remarks made by Mueller.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler commented on Mueller’s conference saying “Mr. Mueller told us a lot of what we need to hear today.”

Impeachment:

After the Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller press conference, several Democratic presidential candidates took to social media to call for the impeachment process of President Trump.

And while several called for impeachment, House speaker Nancy Pelosi said that impeachment is not ‘off the table yet,’ but democrats still need to make a ‘compelling’ case for the impeachment.

Sanders 2020? :

Is it 2016 all over again for one presidential candidate? Supporters of the Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders say they are worried that they are seeing a repeat of treatment for Bernie Sanders by the DNC.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is currently leading the polls with an 18 point-lead over Bernie Sanders.

USS John McCain:

Reports circulated earlier this week that the White House had ordered the USS John McCain to remain ‘out of sight’ while President Trump visited Japan. Trump has taken to Twitter to fire back against the reports.
