May 21 (Reuters) – The White House has postponed its planned Thursday ceremony for President Donald Trump to sign a new executive order on AI and cybersecurity, two sources familiar with the matter said.
Axios, citing an internal note, was the first to report the news.
The order would create a voluntary framework for AI developers to engage with the U.S. government about the public release of covered models, two sources told Reuters on Wednesday.
