JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Gov. Mike Parson plans to resume public appearances in Missouri this week after isolating for about two weeks because he tested positive for COVID-19.
Parson’s office says he’ll visit St. Joseph on Tuesday, attend events in Jefferson City on Wednesday and sign a bill in St. Louis on Thursday.
A debate between Parson and Democratic governor’s candidate Nicole Galloway is scheduled for Friday.
Parson and his wife, Teresa, tested positive on Sept. 23.
Neither developed serious symptoms.
St. Louis County health officials on Monday reduced restrictions on high-contact sports such as football and hockey, and allowed restaurants to increase capacity to 50%.
