A Benton County judge says a mother charged in connection with the beating death of her four-year-old daughter can be released from jail if she posts bond.
Bond for Mary Mast is set at $500,000.
She’s being held in connection with the beating death of her daughter, Jessica.
Mast’s husband, James, was recently released from jail after posting $500,000 bond.
The couple’s neighbors are charged with second-degree murder after telling Benton County authorities they were trying to beat a demon out of the little girl.
Authorities say the girl’s parents had also been beaten and threatened.
