  • On Monday, the Missouri Senate will consider the nomination of Donald Kauerauf to be the director of the Department of Health and Senior Services.
  • Gov. Parson announced last year that he selected Donald Kauerauf to be the next Director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service.
  • Kauerauf spent the last 30 years in public health, then went to chair the Illinois Terrorism Task Force, which oversees a state committee on public health, chaired by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
  • Bev covers some concerns that she has with Kauerauf, including his stance on COVID-19 vaccines, masks, and more.
  •  Kauerauf’s appointment Senate hearing will take place on Monday, January 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Capitol.

  • Pineapple Whip is hosting their 8th annual Whip Solstice! The Whip Solstice is happening today, then will take a 3 day intermission Tuesday-Thursday to dodge the ugly weather, and reopen Friday-Sunday February 4-6. Each day hours are 12pm-10:30pm.
