Welcome Home Veterans from Honor Flight to Washington D.C.

Today a group of Veterans from around the Ozarks are headed to Washington D.C. with Honor Flight of the Ozarks. The group will be spending the day visiting the memorials around our country's capital. 

You have an opportunity this evening to welcome home this plane full of Veterans. Right now the Honor Flight of the Ozarks is asking you to arrive at the Springfield-Branson National Airport around 8pm- however things may change. Click here to follow the group's Facebook page- which will be updated with more details as their arrival approaches. Homemade "welcome home" signs are welcome. 

You can be a part of the Honor Flight of the Ozarks in 2018 in multiple ways:

  • Veteran- If you are a WWII, Korean or Vietnam Veteran the Honor Flight of the Ozarks would like to honor you with a free trip to Washington D.C. Click here to learn more and to fill out the application
  • Guardian- A guardian is assigned to every Veteran who attends the trip. Their role is as a helper to the Veteran. You must be at least 18-years-old and costs $500. Click here to learn more and fill out the application
  • Donor- The Honor Flight of the Ozarks relies solely on your donations to help recognize these heroes. The Honor Flight of the Ozarks has a program called "Friends of the Flight" which is a $20/monthly donation. Click here to learn more.  Don't have $20/month? That's okay.
