Update on Maria Chappelle-Nadal:

The Senator wished for Donald Trump's assassination in a Facebook comment in August. Since then, Nadal has been under fire to resign or to be pushed out by veto. Republican leadership has given her until Wednesday’s veto session to leave her seat or else risk being removed from office. Will the Republicans actually remove her from office? 

Hand in Hand Telethon:

Celebrities hosted a telethon last night to help raise money for hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Although the telethon was meant to be for a good cause, many celebrities couldn't help but throw their political beliefs in the ring. Talk about racism, political parties, and even climate change and global warming were brought up last night. 

"Anyone who believes that there is no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent," Stevie Wonder said before performing.

What is going on around the state of Missouri that we need to know about? Also: Pachyderms meeting will be hosted at Ocean Zen in Springfield, MO. Next Friday there will be a meeting! Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Friday every month.

Mayor of Seattle: 

The mayor of Seattle, Ed Murray, has resigned. Why? Because not one, not two, but FIVE child sex abuse allegations have come forward. The fifth one happened to be a cousin that said that Murray had molested him when he was a teenager.
