As hurricane Florence slowly makes landfall, Trump is arguing against Democrats that Puerto Rico's death toll was inflated and inaccurate. The 2,975 number is an estimate that was created by George Washington University. Their numbers weren't based on a traditional death-toll, but instead they used the number of deaths from 6 months after the storm used inside a calculation they created that believes there was a 60% chance of dying in the poor areas of the country.
