Customers say they’re surprised after the Sara Lee Bakery on east Kearney in Springfield closed unexpectedly last week.
Many of those folks are now traveling six miles to the Sunbeam Discount Bakery Store on west Chestnut Expressway.
Store owners at Sunbeam say they’ve seen an increase in business since Sara Lee closed.
