A local contractor accused of stealing thousands of dollars from his clients is behind bars. Jon Rush, who owns Jon Rush Construction, was arrested Wednesday morning.
He faces five felony charges for forgery, stealing, passing bad checks, and issuing fraudulent waivers, respectively.
Rush is accused of creating false invoices and sending them to clients, ripping them off sometimes by as much as 50,000 dollars. He was wanted in Taney and Stone counties before he was caught.
