A man is charged with murder after law enforcement found a woman dead outside of her home in Humansville.
Kaleb Stamper has been charged by the Polk County prosecutor with the murder of a 57-year old woman.
She was found late Saturday outside of a house on Mill Street with stab wounds.
Deputies located a suspect vehicle in connection with the case, and pulled it over, leading to the arrest of Stamper.
Investigators say Stamper has admitted to killing the woman, and says he originally planned to kill two victims, but failed to find the first in Buffalo. Investigators say Stamper was stopped while on the way to Springfield to commit another stabbing.
Authorities say Stamper knew the victim, but the exact nature of their relationship is unknown.
