(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – The Springfield Police Department is hosting an event on Tuesday for the public to meet the newest recruits.
The event is called “Cookies with Rookies,” and it will take place at the Battlefield Mall.
The event will run from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the food court seating area.
“Cookies with Rookies” brings police officers and community members together and allows citizens to get to know Springfield police officers.
This event features complimentary cookies.
Goodie bags are also available for children 10 and under while supplies last.
