WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that several law firms had agreed to provide hundreds of millions of dollars in pro bono legal work on certain causes they and the administration support.
Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Allen Overy Shearman Sterling US LLP, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP are set to provide $125 million in pro bono work each, while Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP would provide at least $100 million, Trump said in posts on his Truth Social account.
